A remake of the 1985 vampire flick, Fright Night, begins filming next month and though it will be set in Las Vegas, it will be shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico between 7/26/10-10/01/10.
The movie is about a teen (Anton Yelchin) who is convinced that his new neighbor (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. In addition to Farrell and Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Toni Collette have also joined the cast.
If you’re interested in becoming an extra on the film, On Location Casting is looking for all types to appear as background actors in the film, no previous experience is necessary. They are looking for some specific types too, including 18+ year olds to look like younger high school students, 16 to 17 year olds, various high school clique types: nerds, jocks, cheerleaders, asians, stoners, etc., teacher types with professional attire, parents of high school students, Las Vegas Showgirls, poker players, vampire types, and more. In addition to the New Mexico shoot, Fright Night is also scheduled to shoot at 1335 Willow St in Los Angeles on 6/26/10 between 10:00 A.M. & 12:00 A.M.
The movie is expected in theaters on October 11, 2011.
