Extras casting call for ‘Rectify’ taking place in Georgia this weekend

Christopher Gray Casting has announced an open casting call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Event Center on North Expressway in Griffin, GA.

The company is looking for extras for the TV show Rectify, which begins filming on Monday, 6/18, in Griffin.

Men and women of all ages are welcome to attend. Those unable to attend the open casting call on Sunday should email a photo of themselves along with their contact information, to cgcastingatlanta@gmail.com.

Rectify is a new legal drama for the Sundance Channel starring Abigail Spencer, Clayne Crawford, Adelaide Clements, Jonah Lotan and J. Smith Cameron. According to Deadline, “Rectify centers on Daniel Holden who, after 19 years in prison, is released from Death Row when he is exonerated for rape and murder by DNA evidence. He returns to his hometown where he must readjust to his new life, including unfamiliar family members and surroundings.”

UPDATE: I got an email advising the casting call has already taken place but if interested you should still be able to contact the casting company via the email provided (cgcastingatlanta@gmail.com).

  1. WARNING: The article forgot to mention that Christopher Gray Casting also doesn’t pay his talent: myself and several actors are still trying to collect from him on a shoot we did back in January of 2012 – some five months later… Don’t believe me, check out the Better Business Bureau Report in LA, he’s currently at an “F”. His office doesn’t answer calls or return emails, they simply get actors to work for them and they take the money and run…

  2. Both myself and several actors involved with a commercial shoot back in early 2012 have yet to be paid by Christopher Gray. They never return emails or phone calls and the production company that used Christopher Gray Casting said they’ve received over 30+ complaints from actors not getting paid.

Christopher Gray Casting steals from the very actors that allowed them to be employed in the first place: Christopher Gray is a disgusting excuse for a human being, a liar, and a crook. I hope actors and production companies do their homework and stay far away from this loser.

  3. It is true, we used CG casting for two week long shoots in Los Angeles. Chris Gray was paid on location, on the last days of filming. Unfortunately, we have received over thirty calls form talent who still have not been paid. Unfortunatley, all our contact and inquiries go unanswered- he basically took the money and refuses to pay any of the talent. It is un-ethical and he is literally stealing from this talent. We will never use Chris Gray casting again, ever. Be weary if you ever work with Chris Gray.
