Three new independent film productions are currently underway in Wilmington, N.C. Check out the details of each below:
The Remaining, which follows a group of friends scrambling to survive after a global disaster, is currently based at EUE/Screen Gems Studios and is expected to shoot for 21 days in Wilmington. Casey La Scala, who produced A Walk to Remember in 2002, will direct.
The raunchy comedy Dale Archdale is being produced by Wilmington local Matt Warzel and features porn star Ron Jeremy.
On the other end of the spectrum is Frat Brothers, a family friendly film about two brothers who take different paths at the same college. Little Romeo, Mishon Ratliff and Darren Dewitt Henson will be in town for the 14-day shoot.
