As we’ve reported, Ryan Gosling will begin work on his directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster, on May 6 in Detroit, MI and we’re hearing he’s already in town for pre-production work on the film.
And, according to Ryan Hill Casting, Gosling’s prep work includes filling one of the movie’s principal roles. Check out the casting call below:
FRANKIE: (male 2-3 year old identical twins or triples), Caucasian, Bi-racial, Hispanic. Quiet and withdrawn but with an expressive face and deeply active internal life. Almost reminiscent of a silent film character. Because of the lack of lines for this character there should be an imaginative quality as if he lives in a make believe world he created. DISCLAIMER: Please be aware some of the scenes with Frankie may include a simulated house burning down, child running into simulated controlled traffic, and a dressing room scene which may have partial nudity by other actors. Please e-mail pics and contact info to: email@example.com.
Ryan Hill is also casting 300 extras for the movie, once casting begins, the email address to apply will be HTCAMExtras@gmail.com. Stay tuned to Ryan Hill’s Facebook Page for updates.
Written by Gosling, How to Catch a Monster will star Christina Hendricks, Eva Mendes, Saoirse Ronan, Matt Smith and Ben Mendelsohn.
