According to Maryland Film Office, Freezer Burn, aka Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is set to film scenes around the city later this month and they are looking for extras.

Betsy Royall Casting, CSA will be casting the DC days for the movie, Freezer Burn. Filming will be Monday, May 13 – Thursday, May 16th.
Casting union and nonunion adults and kids (8 +). The 15th & 16th are the larger days. The 16th is the day we will be needing a lot of kids. If you are available to work and are a UNION talent, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

There is also a shoot taking place on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge this weekend which also appears to be for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

On Sunday, May 5 there will be intermittent closing of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge to allow for the filming of a major motion picture set in the District. MPTD has negotiated an agreement with the DC Department of Transportation, the Metropolitan Police Department, the Virginia Department of Transportation, Arlington Police and the National Park Service to close the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge.
The Theodore Roosevelt Bridge plays an integral role in the storyline. Aerial photography will be used to capture various angels of the bridge. While in the nation’s capital the production company will film other iconic sites.
When: Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 8:20 am – 9:10 am and 1 – 1:30 pm
