Prince Harry arrives in the U.S. for a week-long tour tomorrow and we have all of the scoop about what he’ll be up to, and where you can spot him!
Thursday, May 9:
Prince Harry’s first stop will be to Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. for an exhibition by the Halo Trust, a charity clears landmines left behind by war, a cause that was important to his mother, Princess Diana. Then, he will attend a dinner honoring HALO’s 25th anniversary at the home of Britain’s U.S. ambassador Sir Peter Westmacott.
Friday, May 10:
Harry will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery and visit wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital before flying to Denver, CO for dinner with Beverly Simpson, Consul-General to Colorado.
Saturday, May 11:
Next he will attend a Wounded Warrior Games in Colorado Springs. He will watch the opening ceremony, check out a volleyball game, and attend a brunch with the members of the British team.
Sunday, May 12:
The Prince will arrive at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado, where he will watch the cycling competition before traveling back to the east coast on Monday.
Tuesday, May 14:
Harry will visit Mantoloking and Seaside Heights, NJ and tour the areas hardest hit by Superstorm Sandy.
He will then travel to New York City to promote Britain’s GREAT campaign while meeting with representatives from business, both US and UK, and see product demonstrations. Next Harry will visit “socially and economically challenged” parts of the city to play baseball with kids. In the evening he will attend a dinner/reception hosted by the American Friends of The Royal Foundation.
Wednesday, May 15:
Prince Harry will complete his trip with by playing in the fourth annual Senteble Cup Polo Match at the Greenwich Polo Club in Connecticut. The event is invite only and the guest list includes Richard Gere, Ivanka Trump, and Dan Stevens.
