‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ is actually filming in Philly next week

You might assume that a show with Philadelphia in the title is filmed in the City of Brotherly Love but in the case of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, you’d be wrong.

It’s Always Sunny is primarily filmed in Los Angeles but once or twice each season they spend a few days filming on location in Philadelphia. And, it looks like their next field trip to Philly is right around the corner.

According to @iPhillyChitChat, the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia cast will be in Philly June 11 – June 15 filming exteriors for their TV show.”

There is no word yet as to where exactly they’ll be shooting around town so be sure to let us know if you spot them!

We’re not sure if this is related to the Sunny shoot or not but we’ve also hear trucks and vehicles are parked on Ridge between Midvale and Stanton in Philadelphia this week for filming, too.
