James Franco begins filming the 3D drama ‘Every Thing Will Be Fine’ in Montreal

James Franco is beginning to work on the feature film Every Thing Will Be Fine in Montreal, Canada. They were last spotted on University Street.

The film also stars British actress Charlotte Gainsbourg (Melancholia) and Montreal’s Marie-Josee Croze (The Barbarian Invasians).

Unlike most dramas, this film will be shot in 3D. The director of the film, Wim Wenders, said “I am convinced that the medium of 3D will be able to open up an entirely new dimension of emotional closeness to our story and its protagonists”.

Every Thing Will Be Fine revolves around Franco who plays Tomas, a writer who loses control of his life after striking and killing a child while driving around following a fight with his girlfriend. The film follows Tomas over a 12-year period.

The film will be released next year.
