‘Bus 657’, starring Robert De Niro, is filming in Alabama and Needs Extras

Robert De Niro will star as Frank ‘The Pope’ in the movie Bus 657, which began filming on October 13th, in downtown Mobile, Alabama. This thriller will be about a casino card dealer with a past, who puts a crew together to rob a bank and hijack a city bus as collateral.

Yesterday, the movie was spotted shooting on the Causeway eastbound from the first entrance ramp east of the Bankhead Tunnel to east of the Battleship.

De Niro’s stand-in Chad Kinney created a Facebook page to share pictures and stories from the shoot called Bus 657 Extra’s. Kinney also posted a new casting call. Here’s what they’re looking for:

Female 5’8″-5’9″ 140-150 lbs with brunette hair, Male 6’2″, 170 lbs with dark hair. To apply, email bus657extras@gmail.com.

Bus 657 is expected to be released next year. It is directed by Scott Mann and will also star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kate Bosworth, Morris Chestnut, Dave Bautista, and Gina Carano.
