‘Joe Dirt 2’ filming underway in Louisiana


David Spade is once again donning a mullet for Joe Dirt 2.

The sequel to the 2001 cult classic won’t be hitting theaters, instead the movie will be released exclusively on Crackle sometime next year. If you’re not familiar with the online network, all of its content is free, but there are a few commercials interspersed throughout their content.

On Monday, David Spade shared the above photo from the set of Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser with the caption, “Day 1. Lets get this shit started! #imjoedirt #whatscrappenin.”

According to the latest casting call, Joe Dirt 2 is filming in Slidell, LA today, and they have been looking for 1980’s model cars.

For Monday, 11/24, they are looking for the following:

** JOE DIRT 2 – DIRT@centralcasting.com – Working in New Orleans **

– First Class Airplane passengers – Upscale/Wealthy looking 20’s-60’s Men & Women, all ethnicities to work on Monday 11/24 in New Orleans.
