The latest film in the Rocky franchise, Creed, is gearing up to start production in early January and they are looking for extras.
The movie will be shot in Philadelphia, where Rocky once ran up those iconic stairs, but this time Sylvester Stallone won’t be boxing, he’ll be coaching.
Creed will focus on the grandson of Apollo Creed – Carl Weathers’ character in the first 4 Rocky movies – played by Michael B. Jordan. The movie will follow the young Creed, who was raised in a wealthy home thanks to his grandfather’s earnings, as he tried to follow in his grandfather’s legendary footsteps, despite his family’s reservations about him becoming a boxer. In his quest to get in the ring, Creed seeks the help of Rocky Balboa, who reluctantly agrees to mentor him.
Even though is still a few weeks away, Heery Casting is already looking for extras and stand-ins for the movie. Currently, they are looking for men to portray reporters with a Liverpool accent, boxers, a Filipina woman over the age of 40 for a specific role and other types who are local to Philadelphia and would like to be extras.
