Last week filming got underway for Dirty Grandpa, starring Zac Efron, Robert De Niro, Dermot Mulroney, Julianne Hough, and Aubrey Plaza, in Atlanta, GA.
The movie follows an uptight guy (Efron) who is tricked into driving his vulgar former Army general (De Niro) to Florida for spring break.
Not surprisingly, since filming began last week, we’ve had lots of Zac fans asking where Dirty Grandpa is filming, or if we know where they might be able to track down the movie’s star in Atlanta.
Though details have been limited, here are a few of the locations where they’ve been spotted so far: The Delkwood Grill, on Alta in Inman Park, and Buckhead. And, based on some of the most recent photos, Zac has certainly been dressing the part of a young, uptight conservative guy on set.
As for today (1/21), @AtlantaFilming is reporting Dirty Grandpa is filming at the Havana Club. We’ve also heard the directional signs for filming say “DG”, so be on the look out for those in the area.

Since filming information has been sparse and so many fans are trying to track the film down, we thought this post could serve as an Open Thread where fans can swap info and rumors about Dirty Grandpa’s latest filming locations.
