‘The Walking Dead’ season 8 begins filming on May 1

As usual, The Walking Dead will be back in production on the first Monday in May, which in this case falls on May 1.

Though we don’t know much about what the new season will bring, Chandler Riggs, who plays Carl on the show, is promising the first episode won’t disappoint.

We’ve also heard there are already “Do Not Mow” signs posted around Senoia, GA, another sure signs filming is about to get underway. In addition to Senoia, TSDF is reporting there are more signs on Hwy 20 in Hampton at 4th St and Solomon in Griffin, and at Tyrone Rd and Flat Creek in Fayetteville.

If you spot TWD filming in Georgia, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

  1. I am so glad I found this site. It’s helpful. Thank you so much!!
I also learned something new. Last weekend my fiance’ and I were in Senoia GA and went in the Woodbury Shoppe and lots of the little stores and took selfies on the railroad tracks so I could say I was on the railroad tracks used in some of the Walking Dead shows….. but,…. I didn’t know what the “Do Not Mow” signs meant that I had seen around Senoia….Now I know!!! And if I’d only known then!!! LOL
