Halloween is the best time of the year for horror fans as the month of October brings with it scary movie marathons, haunted attractions and, of course, horror conventions. Here’s a look at five of the best horror conventions taking place this Halloween weekend, Oct. 26 – 28:
We had an awesome time at Scare-A-Con last year where we not only met Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard, but also picked up a few goodies from vendors. For a smaller con, they usually have a solid lineup of vendors, and guests, all of whom are very accessible and talkative. This year, Malcolm McDowell, Terry Kiser, Meg Foster and many others will be attendance.
The highlight of this year’s Spooky Empire is a mini X-Files reunions with David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and Mitch Pileggi. There will also be a Tattoo Festival and Film Festival incorporated into the convention.
Marie Combs, Scarlett Byrne, Erica Cerra, and other celebs are already lined up to attend Wizardly Weekend – a celebration of all things Harry Potter.
Walker Stalker Con
Walker Stalker Con brags that is by fans, for fans and it does seem like their Atlanta lineup is custom made for any diehard TWD fan. Greg Nicotero, Danai Gurira, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Melissa McBride, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Sarah Wayne Callies, Chandler Riggs, Laurie Holden, and many other Walking Dead veterans will be there.
An evening with annabelle
An Evening with Annabelle isn’t exactly a con, but it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On Friday, Oct. 26,“Annabelle” the cursed doll that inspired 2014’s horror film Annabelle, starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, will be on display during a banquet in CT.
